Is a steel window suitable over the kitchen counter?
Yes. Galvanised steel with epoxy primer and a good top coat handles steam and cleaning. Long kitchen windows are split into equal panels so each shutter stays light and easy to open.
Will GI steel windows rust in Kerala's monsoon?
We use TATA Galvano sheet with a 120 GSM zinc coating, repair every weld with zinc-rich coating and finish with epoxy primer. Keep the windows painted (your painter applies the top coat) and they stay protected. For coastal sites ask for heavier Z275 zinc — we quote both.
Are glass and paint included?
Our standard price covers the steel window with grill, hinges, handles and epoxy primer, ready for your painter. Glass is fitted by your glazier unless you ask us to include it — either way the quotation states it clearly, line by line.
Can you make any size or design?
Yes. Each window is designed from your plan sizes in our studio — any number of panels, top lights, kitchen windows, French windows, ventilators, arch tops. You see the drawing before we cut.
